How Social Enables Australian Business Adapt to Survive

Australia performed appallingly in the just released Linkedin “Adapt to Survive” global survey on the effectiveness of recruitment and onboarding, ranking last on retention outcomes. Almost one-quarter of all people who get a new job in this country will quit within a year, in contrast with top-ranking Holland at 6%. The waste caused in direct and indirect costs is also appalling – about $370m in direct costs and $3.7b in productivity costs.
